What is our format?
Broomfield Bonfire is a local, in-person community designed to foster connection, learning, and belonging. We have monthly meetings in Broomfield every second Wednesday of the month.
Our monthly gatherings include:
• An educational or informational component
• A connection-focused experience centered on conversation, curiosity, and relationship-building
Between our monthly meetings, Broomfield Bonfire hosts community activations and events led by our chapter leaders, board members, and the community itself. These gatherings may include educational opportunities, community-building events, and forms of low-pressure activism, offering many ways to stay connected, engaged, and involved — always at your own comfort level.
EXAMPLE MEETINGS:
HOW STATE LAWS IMPACT LOCAL GOVERNANCE
A conversation with Guyleen Castriotta, Mayor of Broomfield, and Jean Lim, Mayor Pro Tem, exploring how state-level legislation affects local decision-making, from housing to public safety to everyday city governance.
BRING YOUR OWN DAMN COFFEE
A hands-on gathering where members came together to assemble whistle kits to help educate communities on personal safety and ICE awareness. In just two hours, members created 1,500+ kits, later donated to local nonprofit organizations.
